Code of Conduct

Inclusion

All humans are welcome to join the EOS Community as long as you are willing to respect the individual nature of self-expression. We actively encourage and celebrate diversity. We rely on this diversity to bring fresh ideas, vision and creativity in order to support our local community and world around us. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations.

Self-Expression

We believe that individuals are at their best when given the opportunity to express themselves whole-heartedly. We welcome members to bring their best self into our organization in order to create, design and build our community. We actively encourage questions, new ideas and creative expansion within the boundaries of your human capsule.

Participation

Our community is driven through active participation. We rely on each other to truly embody PLURR principles. Peace, love, unity, respect and responsibility is essential for our community to succeed. Each individual is encouraged to participate within your own given capacity.

Cooperation

Working together is one of the most important elements of community. While we all need space to carry the weight of our personal lives, it is quite beautiful to witness what we can create when we have the opportunity to share space. Clear, concise communication should be used whenever possible working within group projects. Personal accountability and proactive behavior is strongly encouraged.

Co-Creation

We believe that we are co-creators of our reality. We are responsible for the experiences we share with others. We feel a deep embodiment in our connection with the community and our ability to create positive change through our co-creation experience.

Civic Responsibility

We value a culture that embodies civic responsibility. Community members assume responsibility for public welfare. When participating in events, members choosing to partake are responsible for doing so in accordance with local, state and federal laws.

Consent Culture

We encourage members to use clear and concise communication in establishing connections. When entering another’s personal space, ask for permission and acquire clear approval of acceptance. Respect other member’s boundaries and right to refuse, stated or implied. Intentional predatory and bullying behaviors are not tolerated.

Aligned Environmental Values

We are committed as a community to environmental, energetic sustainability and physical health. Our goal is to create events that “leave no trace” as well as intervening waste streams in order to create art installations that leave the planet better than it was before. All community members should embody this principle by utilizing a minimal waste system when attending and contributing to events.

Vitality

As we are surrounded by nature and her creation, we celebrate and support the life force of the land, including plants, animals and people existing on it, past, present and future. We highly encourage and nurture the practices of holistic healing on both a personal and planetary scale.

Longevity

As we continue to evolve we want to consider all aspects of what it means to be human. As a community it is our responsibility to consider each other, the land we use and the impact we leave behind. As a healing community we encourage each other to leave each place we attend better than we found it. We find healing in our interactions with one another and the positive impact we place on our planet including plants, animals and community.

Service-Oriented

As a service-oriented community member we understand that all is connected. We understand that individual well-being is not separate from the well-being of others. We offer our time and services to the great expansion of our community and the world around us. We offer ourselves and our experience to create substantial positive change whenever we are able.

Tranquil Environment

We exercise consideration in all our actions, taking into account each human’s difference in capacity for sound and energy, with the goal of maximizing harmony.

Safety

While we are all imperfect humans, we recognize collectively that growing and nurturing a deep love for all humans is how we choose to live our lives. Acceptance and tolerance of others, especially when their choices and values conflict with ours, is the beginning. For it is only through embracing what we do not understand that we know real love and begin to heal each other and the planet.
